About Paul C. Taylor

Paul was born in Detroit, and grew up in Garden City. His Dad worked for Chevrolet in Livonia, and his Mom raised six kids and later worked in a business office.

He graduated from Detroit Catholic Central High School, and then worked some 28 years as a Heating and Cooling mechanic. Paul has five children, was a Cubmaster of a Cub Scout Pack for ten years, and received the Cubmaster Award.

He first visited the Fenton area in 1982, then returned later many times to visit relatives. Paul has resided in Livingston County since 2003, and now lives minutes southwest of Fenton.

He and his wife are members of St. Augustine Parish in Deerfield Township, and Paul is a member of Knights of Columbus Council 13450.

He received his Bachelor’s Degree cum laud in Criminal Justice from Wayne State University, and his juris doctor from Wayne State University Law School. While at Wayne Law, Paul worked at the Detroit Free Legal Aid Clinic helping low income clients with their family and elder law issues as a Student Lawyer. He found this work to be very rewarding.

During Law School He also worked in the 16th District Court of the Honorable Kathleen McCann as her Law Clerk/Court Officer. This experience in a State District Court provided Paul with a wealth of information on the inner workings of the busiest and possibly most consequential Courts in Michigan.

Paul’s beliefs

I became a lawyer because I know what it’s like to be in need of a committed, competent advisor, advocate, and defender, yet be unable to find that person. So when you find yourself in an overwhelming situation, don’t go it alone. I have been there, and I want to be there for you.

So in order to be there for you, I keep myself grounded in the idea that you are the focus of my efforts. Thus, this Law Office is all about gaining and maintaining the skills, knowledge, and attitude necessary to do my very best for you every day.

In addition to being committed and competent, it is important my help is also affordable. I need to earn my bread, but I can also work with you to arrive at a doable agreement for my fee. So when you need help, ask me about fee and payment options. Let me help you.

I want to be your lawyer: the trusted advisor, loyal advocate, and staunch defender you need in this busy, crazy world. When the need for help arises in your family, personal, or business life, keep in mind: I am just a phone call or email away!
